The 2015/16 Premier League season threw up one of the most shocking and incredible sporting moments ever, with 5000/1 shots Leicester City winning the Premier League! The tinker man Claudio Ranieri replaced Nigel Pearson in the Foxes' hot seat, an appointment which was hardly met with much excitement by Leicester fans, however Ranieri would soon prove to be a shrewd choice of manager.

Ranieri's men would soon put a run of results together to take them to the summit of the Premier League table, playing some very attractive football along the way. No team could knock Leicester City off their perch and they would run out comfortable winners, ending 10 points ahead of 2nd place Arsenal.

SoccerStarz have commemorated this most historic achievement by releasing the Leicester City Premier League Winners 2015/16 Team Pack. This pack features the full starting 11 which played the vast majortiy of the season, and of course manager Claudio Ranieri, who was one of the many first time sculpts used in this team pack.

Goal keeper Kasper Schmeichel was sculpted for the first time, along with club captain Wes Morgan and left back Christian Fuchs. Danny Simpson and Robert Huth complete this solid back 5, with Simpson previously been released for Queens Park Rangers and Huth for Stoke City.

Holding midfielders Danny Drinkwater and N'Golo Kante are also both first time releases. As it would transpire the Kante would be a team pack exclusive, following his move to Chelsea. Marc Albrighton had already featured in the SoccerStarz range for Aston Villa, while goal king Jamie Vardy featured a few months earlier in England kit as part of the SoccerStarz Euro 2016 collection.

Riyad Mahrez emerged from relative obscurity to become one of the most entertaining players in the Premier League and was a huge reason for Leicester Citys title success. The Mahrez soccerStarz figure is amongst the finest sculpts produced. Completing the pack line up is Japanese international Shinji Okazaki, who's sculpt is one of my all time personal favourites, not only does it look exactly like the player but it also captures the energy and spirit of Okazaki.

The Leicester City Premier League Winners 2015/16 Team Pack was released in early August and it sold out on pre order in just 24 hours! The pack is limited to just 750 pieces and would quickly become a must have collectable piece and something which will no doubt appreciate in value in years to come. The SoccerStarz inside the pack are all on a BLUE base with each pack coming with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.
