Paris Saint-Germain

Quadruple Winners 2015 Team Pack

SoccerStarz released a team pack to celebrate Paris Saint-Germain's quadruple winning season, a feat the club had never before accomplished, in fact no team in French football history had ever won all 4 titles in the same season!

PSG retained the Ligue 1 and Coupe De Le Ligue, while adding the pre season Trophee Des Champions and also Coupe De France to their seasons honours. The team packs consists of 15 figures, which are manager Laurent Blanc, Salvatore Sirigu, Thiago Silva, Gregory Van Der Wiel, Maxwell, Lucas Moura, Javier Pastore, Blaise Matuidi, Ezequiel Lavezzi. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, Marco Verratti, Thiag Motta, Yohan Cabaye and David Luiz.

The figure if goal keeper Sirigu is actually in 2013/14 kit, which was disappointing for collectors who were searching for the elusive 20141/5 kit version, only found in 2015 Foil Bag or Clear Sachet. David Luiz was in his new body pose, with arms behind his back, while Thiago Silva remained in his new kneelind down pose.

The pack actually contains an exclusive figure! The figure of Marco Verratti has his squad number of 6, while the previous blister pack version has him with squad number 24. The reason for this is that Soccerstarz changed factories, so when they were packing out the Quadruple packs they were also producing the 2015/16 versions, so as Verratti had changed numbers from 24 to 6, i can only assume the 14/15 version for the pack was stamped using the 15/16 stamp by mistake. So to clarify, the exclusive figure is Marco Verratti in 2014/15 home kit with his squad number as 6.

The pack is limited to just 400 pieces, with each pack being issued with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. The original release date for the pack was December 2015, with little demand from collectors for the pack, however those collecting all SoccerStarz saw it as an essential purchase, in order to acquire the exclusive Verratti figure.
