2019 EDITION

SoccerStarz will once again be releasing a Foil Bag product as part of the 2018/19 SoccerStarz Collection.

 

The 2019 Edition Foil Bag will feature 36 figures, which sees a drop from previous editions and another drop is that of the away kit figures, there will be no away kit SoccerStarz as part of the 2019 edition foil bag. I do personally feel this is a big disappointment as i felt the away kit figures gave the avid collector something exclusive to collect, so i am hoping SoccerStarz review this and re introduce the away kit chasers for future foil bag releases.

 

Arsenal wre represented by 2 January signings and ex Borussia Dortmund duo of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Chelsea collectors had a new sculpt to look forward to in defender Andres Christensen, joined by Cesar Azpilicueta and the first Chelsea release of Olivier Giroud.

 

Foxes fans had Adrien Silva to add to their Leicester City collection, while liverpool had 5 figures to collect, 2 of which were first time sculpts, those being Naby Keita and Andrew robertson, joinded by the fabulous new sculpt of Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firminho and Virgil Van Dijk.

 

Manchester City had the most included of any team, champions rights of course, a whopping 6, which included 2 very eagerly anticipated first time sculpts, Keeper Ederson and dazzlig forward Leroy Sane, both are stunning sculpts!. The other 4 Man City ones are Bernado Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero.

 

City Rivals Manchetser United had 5 figures released, Alexis Sanchez, Eric Bailly, Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku and World Cup winner Paul Pogba. Tottenham Hotspur had a quartet of figures included, Lucas Moura, Kieran Trippier, Harry Winks and Harry Kane who made his annual appearance in the SoccerStarz Foil Bag.

 

Atletico Madrid were represented by World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann, while Barcelona had 5 figures, Gerard Pique, Ousmane Dembele, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and of course Lionel Messi.

 

Paris Saint-Germain had 3 figures, one of which was a first time sculpt of Adrien Rabiot, joined by fellow World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe and Brazilian Neymar Jr.

 

The final inclusion is that of Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal Away kit, the reason for his inclusion is that SoccerStarz did not renew the Real Madrid license, but of course a Foil Bag release would not be complete without Ronaldo, so in he went in Portugal away kit, which at the time of release made it a Foil Bag exclusive and a highly collectible and sought after figure.

 

The 4 colours chose for the SoccerStarz 2019 Foil Bag were ORANGE, LIGHT BLUE, GOLD & PURPLE

 

The figures also featured ATTACK and DEFENCE ratings under the base, this was to add a game play element to the figures.
