Scotland National Series

SoccerStarz increased their portfolio of national club licenses, with the addition of the Scotland national team. The figures were released a few at a time, in no particular series or collection, just as the figures were ready. Many are done as an easy repaint from the club release of the player, however it has also given collectors some great first time releases.

 

To date there has been 20 SoccerStarz in the Scotland national kit released, this information may likely change if more are released. So far the 7 unique sculpts are Allan McGregor, Craig Mackail-Smith, Gary Caldwell, James McArthur, Matt Phillips, Robert Snodgrass and Jordan Rhodes, some fantastic sculpts amongst them, with Mackail Smith being my personal favourite, with Blackburn Rovers fans delighted to see Rhodes sculpted.

 

The other 13 Scotland national kit SoccerStaz are Darren Fletcher, Charlie Adam, Scott Brown, James Forrest, James Morrison, Graham Dorrans, Kenny Miller, Charlie Mulgrew, Steven Naismith, Steven Fletcher, Lee Wallace, Leigh Griffiths and Phil Bardsley, all of which have also have a club kit release.

 

The Scotland national kit range of SoccerStarz were initially released in blister pack with collector cards, the excpetions being Griffiths and Bardsley, who were released as part of the 2014/15 Collection, so sadly there is no collector card for them, it was replaced by the yellow leaflet.

 

Scotland also had a foil bag release in 2014, which featured many of the SoccerStarz listed above being released on various base colours, some could even be found on the rare and elusive ORANGE or BRONZE base!
